Maxence Roy

Welcome to my GitHub page, buckaroo!

Who's this?

Hello there! My name's Maxence Roy, also known as "Xermax" across various platforms. I am a software developer currently studying at Concordia University, Montreal, in Software Engineering. I am always eager to partake in exciting new projects!

My passion for programming started in 2014 when I taught myself how to code in order to build my own games. Since then, through my internships and education in computer science, I have accumulated hands-on experiences in full-stack website development, cross-platform applications, cloud computing, compilation scripts, build and test automation, and IoT platforms; all of this while following the agile approach of course.

I have a particular interest in fields that will make a big impact in the future like astronomy, artificial intelligence, virtual reality, as well as data science.

On my free time, I stay involved in personal projects such as creating video games and card games, participating in coding competitions, and compiling data about my favorite topics. I also do amateur astrophotography!
